Porsche 911 50th Anniversary

The 50th anniversary of the design classic Porsche 911 was a road show event that we toured through four states. The event had the dual purpose of celebrating 50 years of one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands, as well as launching the latest model of that brand – the 911 Turbo S.

To showcase these elements, we created a 20m long stage set, raised above the crowd, with the original model 911 taking pride of place in front of an integrated LED screen. For the main presentation, we had the car drive down and off the ramp, showing footage of the history of the brand – before the new model appeared from the other side of the screen – and drove down to where the audience were able to interact with it.

Inspired by the original launch year of the car, our party had a 1960’s influence, with furniture and décor, catering, staff uniforms and music all having a suave 60’s feel. We utilised archive advertising posters to create an entrance / media wall, as well as a dramatic and thematic backdrop to the bar.Interactive elements included: roving hand massage; chalkboard ‘memory wall’; roving Pixta iPad photography as well as a ‘Crêpe Suzette’ live cooking dessert station.
