Brand Celebration

The real challenge on this event was the explosion of guest numbers, from 800 to over two thousand, with less than 3 months’ notice! Working with our friends at Yakusan, we negotiated with the Australian Turf Club to allow the first ever closing of the infield at Royal Randwick and then got our hands on Australia’s largest event tent.

Working around race days it took close to 100 staff nearly two weeks to build the custom industrial stadium within. Team Event adapted 39 cargo containers to create architectural structure and working bars within the enormous cavity of the 45m x 90m ‘Super Tent’. We then recruited an awesome line-up of some of Australian Music’s top talent (both old and new) to entertain our guests.
