With three weeks’ notice Team Event was asked to design and assemble a corporate hospitality marquee for one of the partner sponsors of Sydney’s Autumn Racing Carnival. The colour palette was restricted by the mandatory inclusion of the carnival logo artwork, as well as the need to utilise existing client assets.

Team Event re-invented the artwork with giant, oversized prints and a digital interpretation displayed on a huge LED screen that slowly moved and transformed throughout the day. A custom patterned floor defined a lush central lounging area, winged by service bars on either side. An interactive photo booth allowing guests to immediately upload to social networking sites was discreetly built into the wall, so as not to compromise the aesthetic of the space.
