Celebrity Chef Dinner
The Celebrity Chef series is a Team Event favourite that has been carried out annually since 2004. This boutique dinner is never for more than one hundred guests, and requires constant reinvention for a repeat audience.
Over the years our epicurean passion has been sated with the opportunity to work with Australia’s best, including the likes of: Bill Granger, Jacques Reymond, George Calombaris, Luke Mangan, Shannon Bennet and Christine Manfield. We pride ourselves on allowing the chefs to forget the restraints of retail success and create truly unique and personal menus.
In 2011 we were lucky enough to showcase the work of Ben Shewry of Attica. Attica has consistently ranked highly in both the Gourmet Traveller National Restaurant Awards and The Age Good Food Guide Awards, and in 2011 was placed 73 in the San Pellegrino World’s 100 Best Restaurants.
Understanding Ben’s New Zealand heritage and unpretentious nature helped us to create three unique settings in which guests could enjoy his menu - a space dedicated to each of canapés, main and dessert. Ben’s commitment to foraging his local landscape for edible wild plants and vegetables was reflected in the dining table that literally had seedlings and herbs growing out of it.
