Hidden within the leafy streets of Bellevue Hill, the Buildcorp Foundation’s annual charity fundraiser ‘La Fiesta’ was inspired by the beautiful courtyard restaurants and gardens of Spain and Mexico.
Whilst this event is a corporate fundraiser with all of the standard requirements of such an event (charity auction logistics, ticketed entry, sponsors media wall etc) it is actually held in a private home, adding in a whole host of other considerations around the installation and running of the party. Managing the flow of close to 700 guests as well as maintaining a five star level of hospitality and food service, we also ensure that the technical production is seamless for speeches, presentations and entertainment.
By utilising the existing garden we styled the house to create a Latin American feel, referencing the bold colours and Moorish patterns found in folk art, architecture and tiling. An over-all South American influence to the space was brought to life with market style food stalls, market umbrellas and overflowing baskets of fruit and produce – perfect for summer cocktails! Combined with the sultry Latin tunes of Carlos C Major and the great success of raising over $300,000 for this excellent cause, it was a night everyone was sure to remember.
